he ABC Project has a proven track record of success, as evidenced through years of data collection and evaluation. Since its inception in 2002, the ABC Project has provided more than 4500 preschool-aged children with over 60,000 books.
Through the support of a number of individuals and private donations, foundation grants and fundraising activities, the ABC Project is able to realize its fundamental goals of:
1. Families spending more time reading and talking together.
2. Preschool children developing positive attitudes toward books and reading.
3. Children demonstrating an increase in early literacy behaviors, a foundation for school success.
